The Mainframe Systems team will upgrade the OASIS CICS regions from V5.4 to V5.6 on Sunday, 6/16/24, at 6 a.m. The upgrade is anticipated to be completed before 9 a.m. and will be monitored post-implementation until 10 a.m.
This upgrade is necessary since the current version is no longer supported.

DESCRIPTION: UCLA IT Services — Network Services will be upgrading the code on the campus core routers on Sunday, March 3, 0500-1400. No network interruption is expected during the maintenance as core routers will be upgraded one at a time, and the network traffic will be routed to redundant paths.
On January 24, 2024, our IT team identified and stopped an illegal intrusion into the Life Sciences Division IT environment. We believe our actions isolated the unauthorized access to the targeted area, which is 1.19% of the campus community. We have engaged a leading cybersecurity firm to assist in our response and notified the FBI. With their assistance, we are conducting a thorough assessment of the incident, including determining the extent of the impact to servers and data.
