Dear Team,
I would like to share a message directly with you about recent events on campus. I was attending a UC systemwide event this morning, so I was not able to join our All-Staff meeting. Learning about the violence last night and seeing our community's safety compromised has been truly heartbreaking.
During these challenging times, my thoughts are particularly with our campus community and everyone at ITS. Ensuring your physical and emotional safety is the highest priority. Please remember that our Staff & Faculty Counseling Center is here to provide essential support services if needed. Additional resources for students and those affected by violence or discrimination are available in Chancellor Block’s Condemning Violence in our Community message.
My leadership team and I are here to support you throughout this period. We are following and communicating on evolving events. Although we may not have immediate answers, we are available to talk about any impact these events may have on you and to offer the support you need.
