SentinelOne has released 4.6.10.3673 which is their GA client supporting Big Sur. The install package is available through the SentinelOne management console for all campus SentinelOne Administrators. I am pleased to announce the official launch of Slack: UCLA’s new collaboration and messaging tool for students, faculty, and staff. Slack is designed to help us communicate and work together, connecting us to UCLA information and resources in the current remote environment.
On May 17, 2020, at 6:00 a.m., IT Services will be performing a code update to the Enterprise Data Warehouse Services (EDWS). The update will reduce downstream sync issues that have been prevalent the last few weeks.

The QDB Server has been upgraded from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2014. With this upgrade comes the requirement that you must use TLS version 1.2 as lower versions have been disabled.

UCLA offers a campus-wide license to MATLAB, Simulink, and toolkits with access to free online training. UCLA Faculty and Staff with existing licenses will need to transfer their account to the campus-wide license. All current staff and faculty MATLAB users must go to UCLA’s MATLAB Portal to activate new license.
