Sophos Antivirus for UCLA IT Administrators

UCLA has negotiated an agreement with Sophos to license Sophos Antivirus products for UCLA staff, students, and faculty. The license agreement provides access to the following Sophos products:

  • Enterprise Console
  • Anti-Virus for Windows, Mac, Linux, UNIX, Netware, OpenVMS
  • Client Firewall
  • NAC
  • PureMessage for Windows Exchange

How to Download Sophos Products directly from Sophos

Department IT Administrators are able to download all Sophos products directly from the Sophos web site. This site is restricted by a username and password that the IT Support Center (ITSC) will only distribute to authorized department IT Administrators. If you are a department IT Administrator and would like access to the products, please fill out the available form at Sophos Admin Request.

By downloading or copying the software, you agree not to rent, sell, lease, assign or otherwise transfer the software; reverse engineer, compile, make alterations to or otherwise modify the software; or disclose or otherwise make available the software, user manuals, or copies thereof, to any third party.

After you have received the username and password, you can download all licensed software and documentation from: Sophos Product Downloads and Updates

Technical Support

Technical Support will be provided to departmental IT Administrators free of charge through Sophos. It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is included in all licenses. When contacting Sophos please identify yourself as an IT administrator from UCLA and provide them with the admin credentials supplied to you by ITSC.
