Campus VPN (IPSec) Outage: Resolved

Campus VPN connections via IPSec are experiencing issues

12:24 p.m. -- The issue regarding Campus VPN connections via the IPSec protocol should now be resolved.

11:30 a.m. -- Campus VPN connections via the IPSec protocol are currently experiencing issues. If a user attempts connecting to Campus VPN via the IPSec protocol they may receive the following error message: "The negotiation with the VPN server failed. Verify the server address and try reconnecting."

IT Services is investigating the issue. There is no timetable yet for resolution. Please note that Campus VPN connections via SSL VPN / CiscoAnyConnect or the L2TP protocol are not affected.

In the interim, IT Services recommends connecting to SSL VPN. Instructions on how to download and install the Cisco AnyConnect software can be found here.
