Campus VPN (L2TP) Outage: Resolved

Campus VPN connections via L2TP are experiencing issues

10:33 a.m. -- The issue regarding Campus VPN connections via the L2TP protocol should now be resolved.

9:38 a.m. -- Campus VPN connections via the L2TP protocol are currently experiencing issues. If a user attempts connecting to Campus VPN via the L2TP protocol they may receive the following error message or something similar: "The L2TP-VPN server did not respond. Try reconnecting. If the problem continues, verify your settings and contact your Administrator."

IT Services is investigating the issue. There is no timetable yet for resolution. Please note that Campus VPN connections via SSL VPN / CiscoAnyConnect or the IPSec protocol are not affected.

In the interim, IT Services recommends connecting to SSL VPN. Instructions on how to download and install the Cisco AnyConnect software can be found here.
