Welcome from Associate Vice Chancellor Andrew Wissmiller

We’re here to take the worry out of IT and help you focus on what you do best, whether it’s learning, teaching, research, or administration.

Welcome to the Information Technology Services (IT Services) website, your guide to innovative and cost-effective IT products and services at UCLA.

We’re here to take the worry out of IT and help you focus on what you do best, whether it’s learning, teaching, research, or administration. Our vision is to deliver revolutionary IT solutions to students, faculty, and staff that help position UCLA as a world-class public university.

Our products and services cover a broad spectrum: We make possible your high-performance connectivity to the Internet via the campus backbone and campus wireless networks. We also offer cloud services such as Office 365, Box, and Google Workspace that keep you in touch and collaborating with your colleagues.

We run a top-tier data center on campus that offers co-location, virtual computing, and storage services. We can also assist you in developing and maintaining applications and databases, for local or enterprise deployment.

We can help you with your websites and provide desktop support, and we can offer project managers for your major IT projects.

Ensuring digital security across campus is one of our primary initiatives, and our Security Office is available for consultations, testing, and guidance. If your department processes payment card transactions, our Regulatory and Compliance Office can help you meet the industry’s security requirements.

We offer many other services to the UCLA community. You can find out more on this site and in our Service Catalog, or by contacting the IT Support Center at (310) 825-8000.

Our customers are important to us, and we want to hear from you. Each year we offer Customer Forums to provide UCLA deans, directors, and other groups updates on our services. We hope to see you soon and discuss how we can continue to meet your IT needs.

Sincerely,

Andrew Wissmiller
