Past Initiatives

We partnered with academic, research, and administrative units throughout UCLA to help advance departmental missions, enhance productivity, and leverage cost-effective IT infrastructure. Please see some of our past collaborations:

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Deployment

MFA helps you secure your online identity and personal information.

Office 365 MFA Implementation

In order to improve security, Enterprise Messaging (EM Office365) accounts will be converted to use UCLA’s single sign-on (SSO) with multi-factor authentication (MFA) overnight on Thursday 8/19/21.

Opus Faculty Information System

The Opus project was chartered to design, build, and implement a faculty information system for UCLA. Our homegrown Opus application, along with applications licensed from Interfolio improve the efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of the academic review process by replacing a paper-based process with a secure electronic profile, a convenient and automated review process, and robust messaging and reporting features.

Slack

Slack is a communication and collaboration tool offered campus-wide to enhance the digital experience for students, offering faculty additional capabilities for enriching instruction, and providing staff with a powerful tool for team communication and information-sharing.
