Dear Colleagues:
This month marks one year of the IT Executive Dashboard and my commitment to ensuring academic, administration and research partners are well-informed and provided transparency in our work.
- The Ascend 2.0 program is completing testing BruinBuy Plus, and is now gearing up for training all end users in prep for the fall go-live. You may view a recording of the Ascend 2.0 Town Hall conducted on July 27 to get an update on BruinBuy Plus, Research, Bruin Finance, and ways to stay engaged.
- The FACET program developed a new governance model, including broader representation on the Steering Committee to provide advisement and advocate for the program during the implementation phase.
- The Bruin Secure program is planning a foundational exercise to develop a recommended security initiatives timeline. A campuswide broad awareness campaign will follow to socialize the multi-year roadmap with the campus.
- The Bruin Voice program — our campus transition to Zoom Phone — has addressed nearly 9,000 lines to date. Progress for the remaining 7,100 lines can be viewed on the Deployment Dashboard.
