Dear Colleagues:
I’d like to share the IT Executive Dashboard and a few notable highlights with you.
- The Ascend 2.0 program is tracking against key milestones in preparation for the Procurement go-live this fall. In parrallel, the team completed mapping 1.9M financial accounts to the new Chart of Account structure in Oracle.
- The IT Executive Governance Board approved the FACET program budget and timeline. The plan is to enhance the mainframe system in line with the FAFSA Simplification requirements for the ’24-’25 financial aid year and implement Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) for the ’25-‘26 financial aid year.
- IT Services, in partnership Campus Human Resources (CHR), is currently performing an assessment and planning exercise to finalize the go-live dates and scope for the three systems included in the HR IT Systems Optimization (HRITSO) program. A BruinPost is planned to announce the program and high-level timeline to campus, along with the launch of a program website and additional communications to the campus community.
- As of the Wave 5 June 26 go-live, the Bruin Voice team completed the transition of 8,920 lines to Zoom softphones. Progress of the remaining 7,100 lines can be viewed on the Deployment Dashboard.
As part of our ongoing effort to keep an active dialog with each initiative, we’ve created POPin surveys for each of our active projects on our Key Initiatives page. We are continuing to refine our processes and truly value the feedback you provide.
Best regards,
