Dear Colleagues:
As we close the winter quarter, I’d like to share the IT Executive Dashboard and a few key highlights with you.
- The Ascend 2.0 program completed the Chart of Accounts (CoA) design, which will be the baseline for reporting. Detailed CoA mapping is underway. The team also launched a change leader network — including over 110 members from across campus — to drive awareness, engagement, and business readiness.
- The FACET program continued Phase I: Assessment and Planning activities with system implementation partner, Sierra-Cedar, and plans to present a final report and go-live recommendation to the Executive IT Governance Board by the end of March.

- The HR IT System Optimization program received approval to extend UCLA’s contract with PeopleAdmin, which will enable time to perform a re-baselining exercise and develop a go-to-green plan for the implementation of HR Service Delivery, JDXpert, and iCIMS.
- A BruinPost was sent out on March 13 announcing Bruin Voice — our campuswide transition to Zoom Phone enabling UCLA to meet the growing flexibility needs of our hybrid work environment. The team has partnered with distributed IT leaders to migrate over 1,800 lines so far and plans to complete the phased rollout over the next several months.
We are looking forward to continuing to build an exceptional UCLA experience with you this spring.
Thank you,
Lucy Avetisyan
