School of Dentistry Building Wireless Network Cutover on Thursday, September 24, 2020

On Thursday, September 24, 2020, DGIT's Network Services team will be migrating the existing IT Services wireless network in the School of Dentistry buildings to DGIT's services.

On Thursday, September 24, 2020, from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., DGIT’s Network Services team will be migrating the existing wireless network in the School of Dentistry building to DGIT’s services. This migration will result in improved wireless performance and seamless coverage throughout the Dentistry building and the Center for Health Sciences.

What to Expect

During the migration, internet access from wireless connections will be intermittently unavailable. The upgrade will be performed outside of normal business hours to minimize service interruption.

Once the migration has completed, you will have access to the wireless networks Eduroam, UCLAHealthSecure, and MEDGUEST (a public wireless network). You will no longer be able to connect to UCLA_WIFI and UCLA_WEB within FSPH or CHS.

What to Do

Please follow the instructions on this page to ensure you are able to connect to the available wireless networks.
