Enterprise Data Warehouse
In order to make our UCPath reports easier to find, we have reorganized the folder structure in Cognos to more closely align with each report's intended purpose.
On May 17, 2020, at 6:00 a.m., IT Services will be performing a code update to the Enterprise Data Warehouse Services (EDWS). The update will reduce downstream sync issues that have been prevalent the last few weeks.
The QDB Server has been upgraded from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2014. With this upgrade comes the requirement that you must use TLS version 1.2 as lower versions have been disabled.
In order to take advantage of all the exciting new features and to allow us to provide future enhancements, the Data Warehouse team has upgraded Cognos to the newest version!
In order to review, prioritize, and approve all report requests, we have established the Analytics and Reporting Group (ARG) which consists of representative stakeholders from all key departments.
Since UCPath went live in September, the Enterprise Data Warehouse team has strived to provide comprehensive reports that meet a wide range of needs. To that end, we have produced a series of "Release 2 Reports" consisting of the 10 new reports shown below.
On Thurs, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m., the Network Services team will be updating the SSL certificate to remove weak ciphers, as part of following security best practices for the A10 Load Balancer. Connections to the Enterprise Data Warehouse application will be briefly interrupted while the SSL certificate is updated.
