The full version of the Microsoft Office suite is now available to registered students
IT Support Center is now offering Microsoft Office 365 Education as a service to active UCLA students. Students can download, install, and use full versions of Microsoft Office for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android for free. The Microsoft Office 365 Education suite includes:
- Word (word processing)
- Excel (spreadsheets)
- Outlook (email)
- PowerPoint (presentations)
- OneNote (note taking)
To register, students need to create a Microsoft Office 365 Education account (@PersonalMicrosoftSoftware.ucla.edu) which will be part of the username for the account and does not have a fully functioning email address associated with it. The account also comes with web versions of the Office applications that can be used without having to installing software on a computer.
Is Microsoft Office 365 Education available to UCLA staff, faculty, UCLA Extension students, or alumni?
Our software license is limited to active UCLA students and does not include UCLA staff, faculty, UCLA Extension students, or alumni.
Can I continue to use the software even after I graduate?
No, only currently registered students are eligible to use the software.
I am a current student. How do I download the software?
In order to download and install the software, students must first create a Microsoft Office 365 Education account. Please follow all of the instructions listed in the following link to access the software: Registering for Microsoft Office 365 Education (ProPlus).
