About Canva
Canva is an intuitive design tool that makes creating social media graphics, digital flyers, and presentations easy. This platform helps faculty and staff develop engaging learning and administrative materials.
What to Know
How to Access Canva
- Please visit the Canva service page for step-by-step instructions and videos on how to request a Canva license and log into your account
- Departmental approval and a valid FAU code are required to request a Canva license
- If you already have a Canva license with a non-UCLA email, you can quickly transfer your content to avoid losing projects. Learn how to transfer designs from your old account to the new one
- If you are a UCLA MedNet user, please refer to the Canva FAQs for more detailed instructions for creating your Canva account
Training Resources
To ensure ease of use for all skill levels, multiple training options are available, including:
- Access on-demand training videos tailored for UCLA (requires SSO)
- Explore Canva’s Design School for tutorials and inspiration
- Attend weekly webinars on design trends and tips
- Canva’s Support Center is available for additional assistance
What to Do
If you are interested in requesting a Canva license, please get approval from your direct manager first before initiating the software request. For more information on the license request process, please visit the Canva service page.
